The DJR189Z is a compact and lightweight cordless Reciprocating Saw, powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 18V brushless motor, with variable speed controlled by trigger and constant speed control, to deliver 0 to 3,100 strokes per minute for optimal cutting efficiency. The DJR189Z is equipped with electric brake for increased operator safety, trigger lock, one handed grip, tool-less blade clamp for easy removal of the blade and LED job light with pre-glow and after-glow functions. The DJR189Z features fixed type shoe with pivoting shoe plate, vibration absorbing system for low vibration; counterweight mechanism to reduce the tool vibration, eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) for use in outdoor applications or harsher weather conditions to protect from dust and dripping water and battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from overheating, over-discharge and overload current. The DJR189Z is not compatible with G-Series batteries. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase. This guarantee does not apply where non-genuine or recommended parts or accessories are fitted to the tool.
