Sanding bands can be used to remove finishes, remove rust from metal surfaces, or rough shape and smooth on wood, rubber, fiberglass, metal, and other soft materials. The 438 features a fine 120 grit abrasive which can be used to prepare wood for finishing, cleaning plaster and removing water stains on wood. The replaceable bands can be used with the 430 1/4 In.
