About Makita GA9080 9" Angle Grinder, With Rotatable
The Makita 9" Angle Grinder with Rotatable Handle with Lock-On Switch (GA9080) features a powerful 15 AMP motor that delivers 6,600 RPM for faster material removal. The Angle Grinder features soft start, which suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and longer gear life. It also features a vibration-absorbing rotatable back handle for increased comfort in various applications, a “tool-less" wheel guard for more convenient adjustments, with spiral bevel gears for smoother rotations and a more efficient transfer of energy. Convenience features include a three-position vibration absorbing side handle for increased comfort, a large rubber tool rest to help protect the tool and surfaces from damage, and externally accessible brushes for easy serviceability. It also features labyrinth construction, which prevents debris from penetrating the motor, bearings, and gears for longer tool life as well as zig-zag varnish protecting the armature coil from dust and debris for longer motor life.
