About Shabby Chic Multi Surface Clear Coat Sealant- Clear
Shabby Chic Multi Surface Sealant is a water-based low sheen acrylic sealant that is ideal for interior and exterior surfaces by providing a flexible barrier that protects against the damaging effects of rain, moisture and sun/UV rays and light abrasive contact. The extraordinary ability that the multi surface sealant has is that it will expand and contract with the desired surface which intern makes the surface more durable and helps prevent blistering/flaking and damaging when cleaning. Shabby Chic Multi Surface Sealant is suitable for most interior and exterior surface uses including wooden furniture, window frames, doors, conservatories, decking, bricks and mortar, tiles, pottery, plastic, metal and more. General Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry (moisture content no more than 18%) and free from dirt and debris prior to coating. Minor surface defects, imperfections and open joints can be filled with a suitable wood filler prior to coating. Only use nonferrous screws, nails and fixings. Application: Do not apply if there is a risk of rain, or when air / substrate temperatures are below 2℃ or above 40℃. Protect from frost and rain until dry. Failure to meet these requirements may adversely affect the drying, visual quality and durability of the finish. Initial Procedure: Ensure product is thoroughly stirred before and during application, otherwise sheen and colour variations may be experienced. Shabby Chic Multi Surface Sealant may require thinning on the first coat to highly absorbent surfaces otherwise the sealant is supplied ready for use. Coverage: Shabby Chic Multi Surface Sealant covers around 20sqm per litre.
