Application: For Clean, Crisp Bends in Metal Roofing Materials (Steel/Aluminium/ Copper etc.). Quickly Adjusts for Making 5/8″-4″ (16-102 mm) Bends in 29-22 gauge (0.36-0.76 mm) Steel. For Bending a 90 degree Leg on a Curve with Radius of 17 Feet or Larger. Specification: Specially designed 3-station roller produces a uniform bend out to the very ends of a straight panel length. Center roller roller station is also independently adjustable for making mild-angled bends on a curve. When locked in place at the desired setting, you can accurately align the depth of all roller stations, then get the accurate size of bends you need. Jobs that require moving will become hassle-free, and comfortable adjustment knob holds the depth setting securely in place. Using edge bead roller tips: 1. Make sure you have a straight cutting edge on the material you are bending and do not bend the material quickly to prevent rippling of the material. 2. Apply light pressure to the metal bending tool and make several bends, each time bending the material upwards by approximately 10-20 degrees. 3. For a 90 degree bend you should plan to have the tool run back and forth at least 5 to 8 times. 4. Grasp metal bender tool by handle and slide onto edge of material, allow the outer set of rollers to slide off the bend as you reach the end of the material and then reverse direction.
