The base and handle, also made of high-grade steel, have a glossy rust-resistant powder-coated finish which resists scratches and the potential for rust. The set comes with two boxes of staples, one containing 1,000 pieces of 23/6 (1/4" leg) for stapling 2-30 sheets of paper and one containing 1,000 pieces of 23/13 (1/2" leg) for stapling up to 100 sheets. A non-slip, weighted base and rounded ergonomic handle aid in stapling with confidence knowing the stapler will stay put while in use and prevent strain. The stapling margin guide is adjustable and made of sturdy plastic with a steel coil underneath for accurate placement of staples.
