About Nutricology Modified Citrus
Also known as fractionated pectin, contains complex polysaccharides rich in galactoside and other galactosyl residues with a long history of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine.* Pectins are gel-forming polysaccharides from the cell walls of citrus, a form of viscous dietary fiber. Made with non-GMO citrus pectin, non-irradiated and not treated with ethylene oxide. Modified Citrus Pectin acts as a binder, supporting gastrointestinal cleansing.* Since 1979, NutriCology has used only the purest raw materials available, and has implemented strict quality control procedures in every stage of production, including inspection of raw materials, manufacturing, packaging, and storing.
