About QuantiScientific A2 Amine Modified Microplate, 10/pkg
These premium plates of high quality, chemically resistant polypropylene were designed for work with multiplex assays. They possess excellent optical clarity and low intrinsic fluorescence for imaging applications. The rounded, square well design provides optimal mixing without wicking, while the expanded surface area of the well bottom permits higher density spotting. The uniformity and flatness of the plate makes it useful for acoustic dispensing. The plate has been modified with covalently attached surface amine groups making it wet table to both aqueous and organic solvents. Biomolecules such as proteins and nucleic acids maybe linked to the surface through the available surface amines to create e.g. antibody microarrays for immunoassay or DNA arrays for genomic applications.
