About Below Knee BK Stump Shrinker, Limb
Truform-OTC brand (model 839-bk) below knee stump shrinker. This stump shrinker is typically used to reduce or control swelling in the residual limb of a new above knee amputee patient by applying circular compression. The compression should be greatest at the distal end of the stump and gradually lessen toward the thigh. Measure from distal end to knee joint and add 6 inches. Available Sizes: X-Small (12.25 inches), Small (13.5 inches), Medium (14.5 inches), Large (15.75 inches), X-Large (17 inches), and 2X-Large (18 inches). Available lengths: 8”, 10”, 12”, and 14 inches.
