Amazon.com Designed for utility and emergency workers and useful also for campers/hikers and others needing hands-free illumination, at the flick of a switch this hybrid headlamp provides the option of employing a powerful halogen lamp to cut through thick smoke and dust or an array of three white-light LEDs to conserve battery life. The headlamp's 90-degree pivoting head allows the halogen or LED beam to be aimed where it's needed. A rubber strap for a hardhat or helmet and an adjustable cloth strap for bare head are both included. For comfort, a forehead foam pad is attached behind the headlamp's body. That ABS resin body resists chemicals, corrosion, and extreme temperatures.
