A-Team Performance Harmonic Balancer Installation Tool Compatible with SBC Small Block Chevy GEN I Small Block Chevrolet or other with 7/16 "-20 crank thread. Not for 1997 and up. Not for LT (Gen II) or LS series engines. A-Team's Harmonic Balancer Installation tool is the tool for trouble-free installation of harmonic balancers to crankshafts. Very easy to use, avoids costly damage to thrust bearings and crankshaft snouts that may be caused from hammering the balancer into place. This tool presses the balancer squarely onto the crank snout, thanks to a threaded steel pilot and a sealed ball bearing. A black finish protects the hardened steel surfaces.
