About Bird Nesting Ball REFILL Fiber - 4 Oz - All Natural
This is 100% RAW alpaca fiber. This means it has NOT been cleaned in any way since it was shaved from the alpacas in spring. You may find some small pieces of debris, such as hay, grasses and yes, some poop ( although we try not to include that some may slip in ). This fiber may have some scent to it, but it won't be the scent of freshly washed clothing, or pine sol or any other detergent because .... we have not used any on this fiber. Birds will find this fiber more appealing to use in nests because it has no human or chemical smells. Mice like it too! The fiber will be of varying lengths and all natural colors. Each box contains approximately 4 oz of fiber. We have alpacas that are White, Tan, Brown or Black. The color you get will vary depending on current inventory. All fiber is stored in a controlled environment and does not contain any contaminants/critters/droppings etc.
