These mercury free thermometers are individually calibrated and useful for verifying sample temperatures in ovens. An accurate temperature reading without sample contamination is achieved by using the filled bottle (included), which Mimics the sample. Simply insert the thermometer into the bottle and place near the samples for best results. Pfa coated to safely contain glass and liquid in case of breakage, thermometers are filled with organic liquid and have permanently fused markings and lead free glass. They include an individual thermometer calibration report stating corrections to one-tenth of the Smallest division, unique report number and NIST standards used for the calibration.
