This combo set includes one new 40 cubic foot B steel acetylene cylinder with a new CGA520 valve installed and one new 40 cubic foot steel oxygen cylinder with a CGA540 valve installed. Oxygen is used in small amounts as an addition to other gases in welding applications; typically, as 2-5% addition to argon. It enhances arc stability and reduces the surface tension of the molten metal, increasing wetting of the solid metal. These are thick-walled top-quality steel construction cylinders, finished in rust-resistant paints, black, red, or grey paint for acetylene, and green for oxygen.
