Purpose-built like a puukko with a powerful twist. Like a traditional Finnish general-purpose belt knife, the Tueto /too-toe/ everyday carry folding knife has a long curved cutting edge and a clean design. But what sets it apart from the puukko knives of generations past is the fast, powerful Assisted Opening innovation that brings the old-world design straight into the future. Jesper Voxnaes of Loegstrup, Denmark is known for his signature Scandinavian style: clean lines, minimal design, and high usability. But he was challenged to craft a knife to incorporate something different: Assisted Opening. In short, he delivered. A satin-finished drop point blade meets the durable textured G10 handle for a sturdy grip deep in the wet woods. The real magic happens when you fire it up. Nudge the blade open part way and Assisted Opening activates, snapping it open at super high speed. The IKBS ball bearing pivot system makes for a smooth rotation and a liner lock keeps it solidly in place. The Tueto is a powerful new take on old-world tradition. How Assisted Opening Works It's held securely closed in your pocket, but initiate the deployment, and part way through the rotation the blade opens at an impressive speed for simple, powerful, one-handed opening.
