About Herdmar"Rocco" 18/10 Stainless Steel 5-Piece Place
Herdmar has manufactured high quality flatware since 1911 in Guimares, Portugal, home of that country's fine metals businesses for centuries. A family-owned company, they use only the best quality 18/10 stainless steel for their flatware, which gives each piece a luxurious shine, and makes it easy-care and very durable. "Rocco" is a very simple pattern, with handles that widen at the end into a paddle shape, and a bright mirror finish. The tail of each piece sits flat on the table. Each piece is a medium gauge 2.2mm to 3mm thickness, and every piece is dishwasher safe. Both the place spoon and teaspoon are large sized, and the dinner knife has a solid handle and serrated cutting edge. Each piece except the knife is hallmarked "Herdmar 18/10 Portugal" on the back of the handle; the knife is marked Herdmar on the blade.
