Premium fiberglass mat. This 1.5 oz Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is marine grade and suitable for boat building and repairs, custome fabrication, roofing, speaker boxes, pool lining and many other applications. The mat is made of high quality E-glass strands. and has good wet out and high absorption. It can be torn, avoiding the need for cutting. Ideal for laminating. It is 50" wide x 45 feet long. Comes rolled. The strands have a random alignment, giving the fabric an even strength with little or no stretch. Molds made from this fiberglass mat will be equally stiff in all directions. Be sure to work in a well-ventilated area and wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves and mask.
