Primeknit Upper The upper of the adidas Ultra Boost X CLIMA is constructed with Primeknit. While sports shoes are usually made from many separate pieces, the Primeknit method digitally knits the entire upper in just one piece. Knitting fused yarn allows adidas to fine-tune the exact amount of flexibility and support needed in every part of the shoe. This means lightweight comfort that wraps seamlessly around your foot, whilst fewer materials produce less waste. Primeknit also offers great breathability, ensuring the feet are kept cool and dry throughout a run. Externally placed around the heel is a FITCOUNTER. This improves foot placement by securely holding the heel at the back of the shoe, therefore, reducing the foot slipping around and causing possible discomfort and injury. Reinforced plastic has been chosen to construct the fastening systems eyelets. This will provide a much more supportive and long lasting fastening that standard fabric eyelets. The raised tongue tab allows the wearer to easily grip the shoe, making it easier to apply and remove. Boost Midsole adidas take cushioning to new heights, with their ultra-responsive midsole: Boost.
