Part 1 of a two-part, low-viscosity epoxy resin system that’s easy to use for clear coating, laminating, layups, and vacuum bagging. For use with non-blushing TotalBoat 2:1 Slow, Medium, and Fast Hardeners for curing in a wide range of times and temperatures.

Non-blushing formula means no time spent removing messy surface blush so projects can be finished faster. Low odor and low VOCs make it great for shop or indoor use.

Simple mix ratio of 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener makes it easy to get a proper cure every time, especially using TotalBoat 2:1 Pumps (sold separately).

Use on properly prepared wood, fiberglass, aluminum, and steel. Clear, hard, flexible cure is great for clear coating and wooden boat building. Blend mixed epoxy resin with fillers to create a strong adhesive, fairing compound, or filleting compound.

Low-viscosity TotalBoat High Performance Epoxy Resin offers fast wet out and cures to a level, resilient, finish that’s noticeably clearer than traditional 5:1 epoxy resin systems, so it’s ideal for clear coating applications and hand layups that expose and enhance wood's natural beauty or carbon fiber’s cool patterns. It also cures with slightly better flexibility than traditional 5:1 epoxy resin systems so it’s especially suitable for kayaks and other wooden boats that flex during use and with changes in temperature and humidity. TotalBoat High Performance Epoxy Resin is designed for use with TotalBoat High Performance Fast, Medium, and Slow Non-Blushing Hardeners (sold separately). High Performance Slow Hardener is best when working in warmer conditions and has the longest working and cure times. At 77°F, gel time is 40 minutes & full cure is 5 days. High Performance Medium Hardener is ideal for most common applications. At 77°F, gel time is 25 minutes & full cure is 3.5 days. High Performance Fast Hardener is for use in cooler conditions and has the fastest cure and shortest pot life. At 77°F, gel time is 10 minutes & full cure is 2 days. To help you work as efficiently as possible, the High Performance Hardeners are compatible and can be combined with each other. Just remember to mix 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume.This non-blushing resin system lets you finish projects faster because you won’t waste time doing messy surface wash-downs between coats. It’s especially ideal for shop and indoor use because the formula is low in odor and VOCs.
