Dental Seldin 23 periosteal is designed with a large flat handle. The smaller end is sharp for tissue reflecting, and the larger end is slightly curved and is a non-cutting blade, used for tissue retracting. Periosteal Elevators are designed for reflecting and retracting the mucoperiosteum after incisions of the gingival tissue.
