With software-free operation, cross-platform compatibility, and the highest capacity drives, Aegis Padlock Fortress SSD combines FIPS 140-2 Level 2 validated security, and the fastest USB 3.0 interface for uncompromising security and performance. The embedded keypad prevents automated hardware and software key logging attempts to hack passwords entered via the host system. Featuring 256-bit AES-XTS hardware encryption, the Aegis Padlock Fortress seamlessly encrypts all data in real-time, keeping your data safe even if the drive is removed from its enclosure The Fortress is Configurator compatible and can be configured with independent Admin and User PIN’s and Recovery PINs. Aegis Fortress’s internal components are protected by a super tough epoxy compound. This barrier prevents a potential hacker from accessing the encryption circuitry and launching a variety of potential attacks. Aegis Fortress also has several new innovative features not seen on a drive like this before including two read only modes, optional self-destruct PIN, unattended auto lock, and a drive reset feature that clears all PIN's and destroys the data.
