MFJ-1728B Dual Band VHF Mobile Antennas is a 5/8 wave on 2-meters, which gives you the maximum possible theoretical gain of any single-element 2-meter mobile antenna. A heavy-duty magnet-mount holds your antenna tight at top highway speeds. Their tough stainless steel radiator and precision-machined hardware will endure years of harsh mobile use! These antennas come with 12 ft. of coax and PL-259 termination. A BNC adapter for your handheld radio is also included. On 6-meters, the MFJ 1728B is a high performance full quarter-wave antenna. It's an excellent companion for your 6-meter mobile or handheld transceiver. When the 6-meter band is open, it's a "Magic Band." One of these antennas will help you experience the magic! MFJ 1728B antennas are rated at 300 watts PEP or 150 watts FM on either band! They are amplifier-ready with a low SWR that lets your transceiver or amplifier deliver full output without power roll-back.
