About Carson Red Planet Series 25-56x80mm Refractor
The Red Planet Series from Carson is a refractor telescope for beginners that comes included with a universal smartphone digiscoping adapter. You can now use the built-in camera application on your smartphone to take pictures and record video through the included telescope eyepieces. Then share the images and video through social media or email them to family and friends. The digiscoping adapter connector is retrofitted to fit over the included K9mm and K20mm eyepieces. The Red Planet refractor telescope features a horizon mount with slow motion cables for smooth, easy tracking of celestial objects. Use the Red Planet telescope to view the Rings of Saturn, the Moons of Jupiter and much more. It features an 8x21mm finder scope and a 45 degree corner lens for the best viewing results. The corner lens can be used to flip the viewing image right-side up making this telescope perfect for both terrestrial and astronomical viewing. The Red Planet telescope also includes both K20mm and K9mm eyepieces. The Red Planet line features a sophisticated and sleek design so attractive you will be proud to keep it out all year round and it will blend nicely with any décor The included Universal Smartphone Digiscoping Adapter fits nearly all smartphones and phablets with cases up to 3.75 inches wide. It is also compatible with dual-camera phones. The horizontal phone alignment is done using a variable pitch screw for fine control when you need it but can also be moved quickly between an iPhone (corner camera) and Android (center camera) positions.
