About Amphenol PL259 Coax Connectors Male UHF Solder Plug
Amphenol PL-259 UHF male plugs are popular among Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) operators to use when making coax cable runs from antennas to their radios. These 83-1SP-15RFX male connectors can be used on 50 ohm LMR-400, RG-213, RG-214, RG-225, RG-302, RG-393, RG-8, RG-87, RG-8A, RG-9, RG-9A and RG-9B coaxial cables. Constructed of heavy duty brass, nickel and silver to increase signal quality and reduce the likelihood of failure due to a poor connection. Unlike the lower cost PL-259 connectors on the market, these Amphenol plugs have a durable PTFE center dielectric that is less susceptible to heat damage when soldering. Sometimes referred to as 083-1SP-15RFX, 0831SP15RFX or 831SP15RFX. 2 pack. Made in China.
