Fotodiox offers a strong support for the C-mount platform with multiple options for mounting modern and vintage lenses. We offer a complete adapting solution at an affordable price without compromising on quality. Our C-mount adapters are made to last and are precision made making them perfect for video to machine vision. The integrated aperture iris offers some form of light control, but it will cause severe vignetting as it is stopped down Lens Compatibility Note: Due to the built-in iris mechanism, EF-S lenses will not fit on this adapter. Compatible Cameras: The adapter features a 1.0000-inch male thread and will fit any camera or mount that uses this mount. Please Note: The adapter has set screws that can be used to change lens orientation. 'Focus-By-Wire' lenses (such as Canon's STM or Nikons AF-P) requires power to engage the manual focus rings on the lens, since manual lens mount adapters do not power the lens, those lenses will not be able to focus. This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted. We state “infinity focus allowed” because our adapters are designed to be universal which can prevent some lenses from focusing to infinity at the infinity mark.
