Gary Jess is a lifelong resident of the Great Northwest and his songs reflect his passion for the experiences and places he has savored there. A graduate of Washington State University he formally studied piano at the DeCroff Studios and later added woodwinds to his craft. His compositions have received awards from ASCAP and, in the fall of 1997, Gary was named a Steinway Artist - a prestigious honor for any accomplished pianist. Jess' music has been heard on The Travel Channel, the feature film 'Rivers I Have Known' and many regional ads.
