Step 1: rip off the old ear pads, it’s gonna tear and that’s okay. Very satisfying. Step 2: pop up the clip: The clip is the oval black perimeter of the exposed headphone panel. On mine it was black with 6 little red rectangles in it. It’s slightly raised on one inner side. Stick your fingernail or a flathead screwdriver where it’s raised (pointing outward) and slowly and carefully slide it all the way around till you pop off each red clip. It’s okay if you hear cracking noises, that’s just the clips popping off. Then the black oval should be loose but you still gotta pull it off because it’s glued to the main headphone. Step 3: now remove the pleather edge of the old ear pad that was under the clip. It’ll be gluey. Step 4: slide the oval into the little sleeve on the back of your new ear pad, gluey side opposite the earpad. Step 5: pop the clip back in with the new ear pad attached. You will have to apply a little pressure on the clip through the fabric back of the earpad until you hear a click. It should go in fairly easily once you have it in the right orientation.
