An HDMI cable (sold separately) is required for this Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. The Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter transmits high-definition audio and video from your mDP device to an HDTV, display or monitor with HDMI for video streaming or gaming. The Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter connects and configures displays in Extended Desktop or Mirrored Displays configurations.
