The best fish maw for beauty and pregnancy! 新西兰本地生产的鳕鱼胶基本上都是来自一种鱼：Ling Fish （Genypterus blacodes），毛利语为：hoka 或者 hokarari。 中文翻译为鲮鱼，学名为：羽鼬鳚，属于鳕鱼的一种。Ling Fish盛产新西兰南岛，但不是新西兰特有，很多国家的海域都会有，所以包括澳洲，阿根廷等国家都会有类似的花胶出产，只不过由于新西兰海域未经污染所以新西兰鳕鱼胶质量更高。 鳕鱼胶油性较大，遇水即软，遇热因收缩会蜷缩起来，这是和蝴蝶胶非常不一样的地方。 鳕鱼胶完全发泡可以增重300-400%，发泡好的鱼肚呈淡黄色，耐煮。 鳕鱼胶的鱼腥味偏淡，但相较比蝴蝶胶味重，更加适合咸鲜味的烹调做法。
