CHARACTERISTICS. Lamon Beans, also known as Cranberry Lamon Beans, are Borlotti beans that have grown in the high Lamon and Sovramonte plains near Belluno, Veneto. Lamon Beans have a round shape and a light color with brilliant red stripes. Their skin is thin and the taste is rich. These Beans have the P.G.I. indication (Protected Geographical Indication)
HOW TO USE. Lamon Beans are ideal to prepare traditional soups and the classic pasta with beans, and are also excellent for veloute and salads.
HOW TO COOK. Soak in water for 8/12 hours. Rinse and cook for 1 hour. Salt after cooking.
HOW TO STORE. Store in a cool dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
