INTRODUCTION to both plays:Both my plays are free for production and performing rights and are inexpensive to produce. If you are an amateur theatre group, or performing arts school, or professional theatre, and wish to put any of my plays on the stage, please contact me at [email protected] and I will include in the published book the credits of the first production in full. There are no charges whatsoever.Both plays, "The Cemetery" and 'The Confession", should be performed together in one evening, as a double-bill. "The Cemetery" as the first, followed after the usual intermission by "The Confession". TRENT in these plays is the same actor. Each play is performed without an intermission. The scenes are changed quickly in the full view of the audience, which is entertained by the "Art of the Fugue" by J.S.Bach.PREAMBLE TO “THE CONFESSION”The hero is haunted by his memories from the past. He tries desperately to escape from them. What happens at the end? It is the first play in a double-bill, the second being "The Cemetery", also published on Smashwords.PREAMBLE TO “THE CEMETERY”The hero is obsessed with a need of an vengeance for his suffering in his youth. The pursuit brings him to a cemetery and to acquaintance with a graveyard-keeper. The play has two acts. It is the second play in a double-bill, the first being "The Confession", also published on Amazon and Smashwords.
