This circular planter has been specially designed to grow a small patch of cat grass in the comfort of your home. The whole family will enjoy getting involved with the planting and watering of the grass seeds. Your children will learn about nature and the patience of waiting for things to grow. These seeds will germinate quickly in the vermiculite soil. Vermiculite soil will increase the water and nutrient retention, resulting in healthy, and lush green grass. Not only will your cats love to play and smell this fresh patch of grass, but experts say that there are many health benefits from munching on those long green blades. These added benefits include regurgitating which will help clean and stimulate the digestive tract. The juice from the grass also contains essential vitamins and nutrients like folic acid, and it may act as a natural laxative. All these grass benefits will help your cat feel energized and healthy - saving you a trip to the vet! Directions for growing your cat grass: 1) Soak seeds in cool water for 12 hours, then drain. 2) Spread vermiculite (soil) evenly in the tray and moisten with ¼ cup water. 3) Spread seeds evenly on top of the moist soil. 4) Place the lid on the tray and turn to lock it into place. 5) Place in a dark location and keep seeds damp by misting with water twice daily 6) Move to indirect sunlight after 4-5 days once sprouts start growing up through the lid. 7 ) Water the Cat Grass daily with a ¼ cup of water or as needed. 8) Let your cat enjoy the grass once it reaches 4-5" tall.
