They are designed to drill, tap, deburr and counter holes on wood, copper, brass, aluminum, soft material metal sheet and plastic. 3. Equipped with 1/4inch hex quick-change shank, they can work on Electric hand drill, impact drill, bench drill, electric screwdriver and other tap machines 4. They are designed to drill tap a hole through the workpiece, not suitable for drilling Blind holes (it will break the bit in drilling workpiece thick than its work range). With bench drill, they can drill 3/16” (5mm) thick maximum; with hand drill, they can drill 1/8” (3mm) thick maximum. 5. Thin drill bits can break easily than thick bits, so drill more carefully while using a thinner drill bit, make sure it is perfectly straight. 2. Before start drilling, use some cutting oil. It will not only allow to drill hole easily but keep the drill bit from snapping off. It will also keep the drill from getting overheated and damaged. 3. Don’t push with much pressure since it can damage the drill bit. 4. Slowly start drilling the intro surface and then gradually increase the speed. Drilling with high speed at starting point can cause slipping off.
