The black, full-grain leather provides flexible support and long-wearing strength, while 1680 ballistic nylon panels add abrasion-resistant breathability to release sweat-inducing heat. A waterproof flap inside the zipper keeps moisture away.Speaking of dry comfort, these boots are made with waterproof, Gore-Tex liners. Gore-Tex is breathable but moisture-resistant, so sweat will escape but rainwater won't seep in. Removable, easy-to-clean insoles softly cushion steps to prevent fatigue. EVA foam midsole create a second layer of comfort. Non-metallic nylon was used to make the shanks, because feet need lift to prevent sore muscles.
