ABOUT ILSE: Ilse Jacobsen, entrepreneur, creative director and designer, founded the company ILSE JACOBSEN HORNBÆK in 1993, based on a small shop in central Hornbæk. The company's DNA and products are based on Ilse's upbringing and life in her beloved Hornbæk, a summer holiday village which is known for its relaxed atmosphere around the small harbor, its wide sandy beaches and great dunes. Inspired by the natural and rough beauty of the surroundings, Ilse Jacobsen incorporates Danish flair into her products.
