The Wild Hiker is a flexible and comfortable hiking shoe designed for mixed mountain rain. The versatile and multifunctional Vibram Oban outsole impresses with an optimal balance of traction, flexibility and self-cleaning studs and provides excellent grip and stability. The robust mesh upper is equipped with toe caps and EXA-Shell technology with GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining, which is permanently waterproof and optimised breathable: water cannot penetrate from the outside, but sweat easily escapes from the inside. At the heart of the shoe is the special cushioning foam of the Salewa® GumFlate midsole, which adapts to it when in contact with the ground for even more comfort and suspension, reducing pressure under the foot. In addition, our proven Salewa® 3F system combines the clamping range with the sole and heel and thus guarantees flexibility, precise fit and firm grip. The flex collar provides more mobility in the back of the ankle area as well as comfort when descending. The Ortholite® footbed provides good moisture management.
