The Salewa Men’s Alp Trainer 2 Mid GORE-TEX Shoe is a dependable hiking boot built for all sorts of alpine treks in all sorts of conditions. GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lines the sturdy suede upper for reliable waterproof protection that’s also surprisingly breathable to feel comfy in most conditions. The upper also features 3F System steel cabling along the sides to enhance the mid-cut’s stability. Underfoot, Vibram’s Alpine Hiking rubber sole ensures solid traction on all alpine terrain ranging from steep scree to slippery river stones. Salewa’s MFF+ footbed works with the EVA midsole to maintain proper shock attenuation, cushioning, and support while wearing heavy packs.
