As Fizzy: k's top-flight road shoe, the R1 Infinite is extremely light at only 232 grams, conforms brilliantly with its Increased Volume Control, and lays down power with a unidirectional carbon sole. Fizzy: k uses dual Boa IP1-B dials to conform the Microtex upper to the exact shape of your foot without pressure points plaguing you throughout your riding and racing efforts. They call this Increased Volume Control, which makes sense seeing the shoe's upper wraps your foot like a glove, regardless if you have slightly wide or narrow feet. The entire system tightens with steel-coated nylon laces running through textile guides that evenly distribute pressure as you tighten each Boa dial. Looking to the R1 Infinite's sole, you'll reap the benefits of unidirectional carbon that's laterally stiff, lightweight underfoot, and ventilated to regulate temperature on those stifling summer days. This extremely stiff carbon sole makes sure every watt of energy is directed into forward momentum during racing scenarios and training rides where every second counts. Care Instructions : To clean your fizzy: k shoes, wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents, paint thinner or harsh chemicals. After riding in wet conditions, stuff the shoes with newspaper to absorb moisture. Store in shoe bag out of direct sunlight. Cool and dry storage is best to prolong the life of your shoes. Regularly clean the buckle mechanism of debris and lubricate it with silicone type lubricant. Regularly tighten all cleat fasteners to torque specifications specified by your pedal or cleat manufacturer. Do not place shoes near heaters, ovens or fires to dry. Excessive heat may damage the materials and adhesives.
