About COLOURLOCK Water Stain Remover | Aniline

The main use of leather fixative is the color fixing during washing of leather clothing. It can also be used to remove water marks and stains on natural and aniline leathers. Open-pored aniline leather, suede and Nubuck have problems with water marks. Dried liquids leave visible, mostly dark borders. These borders can sometimes be removed with a Fixativ treatment. Wipe Fixativ with a soft cloth from seem to seem into the leather. Wear gloves. The 'cleaning' only works when the Fixativ darkens and enters the surface. Don’t rub too hard to avoid surface damages. Dry immediately with cold air (hair dryer or heat gun). Repeat the treatment if necessary. Care aniline leather next day with Aniline Cream (new leather) or Elephant Leather Preserver (old leather). Nubuck and suede have to be sanded with the Sanding Pad after drying. Garments with water marks can be pretreated with Fixativ in a tub and washed with Leather & Fur Wash Concentrate afterwards.
