Underneath of front flap is lined with soft suede and there are two magnetic fasteners. Upon lifting the flap there is a large zipped compartment at the front, main compartment is fully lined with fabric and there are three internal compartments, one zipped, one for a mobile phone and spare one, you also have a fairly large compartment behind the main compartment. There is a separate large zipped compartment at the back. The shoulder strap is very strong and sturdy, it is also wide and sits very comfortably across the chest and shoulder, length of strap is adjustable. This messenger bag is of superb quality and craftsmanship, is bound to last you years to come. The hide is raw in tone and is very strong/durable and has a gorgeous mud brown vintage distressed look. The brass trimmings along with it's practicality and stunning vintage design makes this a very desirable piece to own. Not specifically designed to carry a laptop but, it's robustness and size makes it an ideal bag to carry a laptop measuring 15 inch screen or less
