The "Endeavor" boat shoe is crafted in the true tradition of nautical footwear classics. These slip-on boat moccasins, naturally waterproof and enduring, are meticulously hand-sewn from hot-stuffed leather with a rich blend of oils and waxes. Named after the renowned British explorer, navigator, and cartographer James Cook, the Endeavor ship, famous for its exploration of the far side of the world (at least, far from Maine), holds an interesting history. Cook's early commissions involved creating detailed maps of Newfoundland and the St. Lawrence River, regions just north of Maine, connecting him to the nautical and sailing communities. The Endeavor embraces classic canoe moccasin style construction, conditioned and elevated with a natural polish.
