A unique silver and glass pendant with shavings of genuine Gibeon Meteorite, accumulated over many years of cutting Meteorite in our workshop.
The Gibeon Meteorite fell to Earth approximately 30,000 years ago. Gibeon fragments were found spread over a strewn field 70 miles wide by 230 miles long--one of the largest strewn fields in the world. Radiometric dating places the age of crystallization of the iron-nickel metal in the Gibeon at 4 billion years old.
Each Pendant is filled with 1 gram of "star dust" in a slender glass bottle with a fine Sterling Silver Cap. The Silver cap is permanently affixed and features a 5mm wide integrated bale. Overall length, including bale is approximately 1 and ¾ inches tall by 3/8 inch wide.
Pendant ships in a Starborn Gift box.
