This lovely pearl necklace is composed of handpicked high-luster white freshwater pearls. The naturally near round pearls were selected for their lovely overtones, naturally high luster and hints of rare surface iridescence. Unlike Akoya saltwater pearls, HinsonGayle's premium freshwater pearls are 100% solid nacre pearls and do not have a shell bead inside them; in other words, they are solid pearl all the way from surface through to the core. The pearls are individually hand knotted on fine Japanese thread by HinsonGayle's skilled artisan and finished with a premium hand-polished 925 sterling silver double-safety clasp. At a standard size of 7.5-8.0mm, this strand of white pearls is perfect for any occasion from casual to bridal.
