Description Manufactured by Anton Schneider, this cuckoo clock has a wooden dial, with the numerals and hands made out of wood. This is a battery-operated, quartz cuckoo clock. It is pre-programmed to automatically silence at night, between the hours of 9:00p to 6:00a. This clock does not have a volume control knob, but it has a switch that allows you to turn off the music and/or the cuckoo calls. This clock has buttons on the side of it, to synchronize the cuckoo sequence with hands (should they get out of sequence). The weights are plastic, for decoration. On every hour (except at night), the cuckoo bird will count out the hour, followed by a rotation of one of twelve German folk melodies. The cuckoo call sounds like you are hearing a bird in the Black Forest (complete with an echo and a bubbling brook in the background). Clock plays one of twelve melodies on the hour. Runs with 3 C-sized batteries (not included).Song List: I don't know what it means. Oh my Darling My father was a wanderer. Listen what walks in from outdoors. Up the mountain in the morning dew. In the green forest where the thrush sings. Oh Donna Clara Black-brown is the hazelnut. Cuckoo, cuckoo's calls from the forest. All the birds are already there.
