YES, YOU NEED A FABRIC HOLDER WHEN YOU USE BOVEDA . Sized for a bow case, reed case or small woodwind case. Makes Boveda packs last 2.5x longer & work more efficiently. This specially constructed fabric holder lets water vapor flow in & out to protect your accessory from humidity fluctuations, plus acts as a liquid barrier if a packet is accidentally punctured by a protruding parts, like the tip, frog, keys or rod system. Soft like a polishing cloth, so it won’t scratch your instrument.

WHAT BOVEDA PACK TO USE IN THIS BOVEDA MINI FABRIC HOLDER. Use 1 or 2 Size 8 Boveda 49% RH pack(s) to protect a bow or small woodwind. For single or double reeds, use 1 Size 8 Boveda 72% RH for day-to-day storage or 1 Size 8 Boveda 84% RH for day-of performance. Woodwind players often have two reeds cases for storing reeds at different RHs. Do not mix different Boveda RH levels within the same case. (Boveda packs are sold separately.)

HOW TO USE: Always insert a Boveda into a Boveda Mini Holder before using in your bow, reed or instrument case. Slip the packet into the holder. DO NOT cut or open the brown humidity packet. Make sure the top flap of the holder covers the pack, so it doesn't slip out. Allow space within the case to avoid crimping or pinching the Boveda. Close the case's lid. BOVEDA DOES THE REST. Replace every 3 months for bows/woodwinds; 2 months for reeds. NEVER MIX different Boveda %RH within the same case.
