To achieve the lovely colors, the Niobium metal was submerged in water and varying electrical voltages were passed through the metal (while wearing rubber gloves, of course!). Depending on the voltage, the metal oxidized in these colors. The necklace chain is a 20" silver-plated smooth snake chain. A unique and thoughtful gift for the magic lover in your life!
