Originally designed for the motion picture industry, and available in 3 densities of 0.5, 1, and 2, Movie Mist filters amplify highlights but slightly reduces contrast. The Black Movie Mist filter softens fine details and is more subtle than the clear mist. IN the Warm Black Mist a warming effect is added. Movie Mists are perfect for smoothing and softening facial imperfections. Unlike traditional soft focus filters, there is little loss of detail. These filters are the ultimate softening tool for creating a mood outdoors or indoors, in broad scenes or portraits. The 150mm size is useable with Lee 150mm holder systems or similar 150mm holders. The filter is also available in 85mm, 100mm and 165mm sizes. Hitech filters are made from the highest quality 1.5mm optical resin.
