About Skin Illustrator Rob Benevides Custom Collection
Skin Illustrator is designed to create a variety of different effects, even covering tattoos or coloring hair. It can be used on foam latex, gelatin, plastic, and silicone appliances. The high pigment content provides rich color tones that stay in place and last all day. Skin Illustrator colors can be activated with a spray or dab of 99% alcohol to apply and it requires very little touch up other than an occasional powdering. Whether you use a brush, air brush, sponge or stipple technique, the versatility of Skin Illustrator can fix a problem or keep one from happening! The colors from this palette can be custom blended together with other Skin Illustrator colors from other palette sets. Skin Illustrator also be easily blended with other brands of alcohol activated colors and palettes. This handy flesh tone variety palette was designed by Rob Benevides, who is a teacher and the makeup director at New York University's (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts. This palette contains the most popular warm flesh colors used: Rice Paper, Natural 1, Lao 1, Cedar Brown, Midnight Brown, Light Sienna, Natural 2, Warm Ochre, Espresso 1, and Golden Ochre. This is a very handy and staple skin tone palette that belongs in every makeup artist kit, and used along with the FX Palette will allow an infinite range of skin tone coverage and a variety of effects.
