About Redmond Clay - Bentonite Clay Of 1000

Redmond Clay is a pure bentonite clay that’s been a skin-soothing staple in homes for generations. This mineral-rich clay is actually volcanic ash that was deposited in sea water approximately 150 million years ago. And we bring it to you in its natural state with no additives, chemicals, or preservatives. Renowned for its natural drawing powers, Redmond Clay pulls dead skin cells, oil, and makeup to the skin’s surface, helping to reduce the appearance of clogged pores, blackheads, and other blemishes. It also has a powerful ability to absorb sebum, which leaves your skin feeling healthy, balanced, and bright. No matter what your skin type, Redmond Clay can cleanse and nourish your skin, leaving behind a radiant glow. To make a beautifying clay mask, mix two parts water with one part Redmond Clay (it should turn into a gel that’s the consistency of mustard). Apply the gel directly on the skin and leave it on until it’s almost (but not totally) dry. Rinse it off with water and pat your face with a clean towel. If you want to pre-mix your clay in bulk so it’s ready whenever you need it, mix a larger amount of Redmond clay and water together (sticking to the two parts water, one part clay ratio). You can use a blender or mixer to speed up the process or you can stir by hand until you get a smooth and creamy consistency. Not getting the right consistency? No problem! If it seems too thin, add more clay. If it seems too thick, add more water. Store the gel in a covered, non-metallic container to keep it from drying out. If it does dry out after extended storage, add more water and remix.
