Safety and contra-indications-  Bergamot is photo-sensitive to most, so you definitely need to mix it with a carrier and not wear it if you plan on sunbathing or a day at the beach. As an alternative use bergamot with some jojoba oil and put a little bit in your hair. Child Safety- Overall bergamot is good for children, but for babies a diffuser is a good use. Remember unless you get the bergaptene free version, you need to be careful not to use even 12 hours before you go in the sun.
